Students can shadow the manufacture of orthotic devices used in clinic. This is a workshop environment not a clinical environment at QMC campus.
You will be required to attend an induction session before your placement, we will book you onto a session in line with your placement start date.

Smart dress. Flat comfortable shoes. Bare below the elbows. Long hair tied back and only one set of stud earrings, no other jewellery. All work experience applicants will be required to wear a mask.


Due to the demand for work experience placements, all work experience applicants must be Nottinghamshire residents or attend full-time education in Nottinghamshire. Applicants must attend an induction before they can attend the placement.

If you are successful, we can only co-ordinate one placement per person, per academic year, through the directory of placements. This is due to the demand for placements.
