Optometry is generally amenable to offering placements on Monday – Thursday 9am to 4.30pm and on Fridays 9am to 12.30pm.
Friday afternoons are not ideal and weekends are not an option.

We are no longer able to offer observation sessions in Eye Casualty or Eye Theatres to A level students. This is only possible for candidates over 18 years old and then at the discretion of the management staff in those areas.

If you are successful, we can only co-ordinate one placement per person, per academic year, through the directory of placements. This is due to the demand for placements.
