This is a four day placement and each day you will see a different area of the People Development Department, including:
Administration & AV Technician Support - Education Centre
This area will give you experience of a “day in the life” in a busy training centre from two different roles – an administrator and an Audio Visual Technician. It will provide applicants with an opportunity to find out more about what is involved in the daily running of the Centre and how it is supported in the following areas:
- Customer service – dealing with all kinds of queries
- Training room bookings and management
- Inputting data on systems and database management
- AV Support – resolving AV & IT issues in training rooms
- The variety of training requirements we support
Learning and Leadership Development Training Team
Applicants will spend a day in the learning and leadership development department and will get to shadow:
• How to set up a training room
• A training session
• How training is recorded and logged
• How we design training materials
E-Learning Administration
This area will provide applicants with an opportunity to find out more about what is involved in e-Learning in the following areas:
• Creative design process for e-learning
• Reporting
• Creating new user accounts/importance of data integrity
Apprenticeships and Work Experience Administration
This placement will provide applicants with an opportunity to find out more about what is involved the administration of apprenticeships and also which apprenticeships may be available in future for the participant.
The participant will also see the administration of Work Experience and what happens behind the scenes to manage placements.

E-learning and Apprenticeships and Work Experience:
Please report at 9am to HR reception, Level 1 Trust Admin Building (TB3), King’s Mill Hospital.
