You will receive an overview of what it is like to be part of a community nursing team including spending time with the administration team who amongst many other things arrange staff rotas and patient appointments. During the work experience you will also get an opportunity to visit a patient in their own home/or care home, witnessing staff administering wound care, dressings and injections.
**Please note that there may be a requirement to travel in Trust staff member's vehicles as part of this work experience placement**

Clean presentable clothing. No short items or clothing which exposes midriffs etc.
We need to ensure patient and Trust confidentiality at all times.. We will ask patients if they are happy for the student to be present when care is being given.
