Paediatric Occupational Therapy
Clinical
The Paediatric Occupational Therapy service provides support to children who have disabilities or disorders of movement affecting fine motor and daily functional skills across the Nottingham City and County. Care is provided in the most appropriate setting for each child.
Students may work in clinics, schools or homes with the team that is providing the placement and have the opportunity to observe assessment/ therapy/ clinical administrative duties (i.e. record keeping etc.). Students may need to travel to team bases in different areas of the City / County of Nottinghamshire.
(14-15 years will be considered on an individual basis)
Nottingham City Hospital
This will depend on the location of the placement but a qualified practitioner will be allocated to each student. Each base has a reception area to report to.

Trousers comfortable for working at floor level, and polo type shirt or smart short sleeved top.
Applicants need to be interested in Occupational Therapy as a career, either studying A levels or equivalent, unless a mature student with different qualifications
