The Paediatric Occupational Therapy service provides support to children who have disabilities or disorders of movement affecting fine motor and daily functional skills across the Nottingham City and County. Care is provided in the most appropriate setting for each child. Students may work in clinics, schools or homes with the team that is providing the placement and have the opportunity to observe assessment/ therapy/ clinical administrative duties (i.e. record keeping etc.). Students will need to sort their own travel to team bases in different areas of the City / County of Nottinghamshire. **Please ensure that you meet the age criteria for this placement before you apply** (14-15 years will be considered on an individual basis) Please note: This placement is up to 5 days, dependant upon the current priorities of the service area.
**Please note that there may be a requirement to travel in Trust staff member's vehicles as part of this work experience placement**

Applicants need to be interested in Occupational Therapy as a career, either studying A levels or equivalent, unless a mature student with different qualifications.
