Support Worker in Therapy Services

Please note: Work Experience applicants need to apply at least 8 weeks before the placement start date. Later applications may not be processed.

This clinical work experience is ideal for those who are considering a role as a support worker in therapy services. It will provide applicants with an opportunity to find out more about the role of a therapy support worker and how they support both Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists. Applicants will spend two days working alongside current therapy support workers (also called therapy assistants) to gain a knowledge of the day-to-day responsibilities of a therapy support worker.

Please report to Clinic 10 reception (therapy department) for a 8:30am start. A member of staff will collect you from there to complete a short induction

Black trousers, a clean and plain black or white shirt which is full length and covers shoulders and chest, sleeve length now lower than the elbow. Clean shoes, trainers are fine as long as they are clean and tidy and a neutral colour.
