Please note: Work Experience applicants need to apply at least 8 weeks before the placement start date. Later applications may not be processed.
Observing in all areas of the department. Assisting with developing the films. Attending reporting sessions looking at images and observing how results are reported. Observe X-ray reception and how patients are processed. Filing X-ray images and medical cards, general office work (under supervision), a short tour of the department will be given.

Flat comfortable shoes. Bare below the elbows. Long hair tied back and only one set of stud earrings, no other jewellery.
Applicants must follow the specific dress code requirements of the placement, as advised by the placement supervisor.
Due to the demand for work experience placements, all work experience applicants must be Nottinghamshire residents or attend full-time education in Nottinghamshire.
If you are successful, we can only co-ordinate one placement per person, per academic year, through the directory of placements. This is due to the demand for placements.
