Students will have the opportunity to observe the role of an Occupational Therapist within the acute hospital setting. Over the 2 days of work experience there will be the opportunity to shadow Occupational Therapists in a variety of clinical specialities. This placement is across both the Nottingham City Hospital and Queen's Medical Centre campuses.

You will be required to attend an induction session before your placement, we will book you onto a session in line with your placement start date.

Smart dress. No short skirts, jeans, shorts, hoodies or jogging bottoms. Flat clean shoes/smart black trainer. Bare below the elbow in clinical areas. Long hair tied back and only one set of stud earrings. No other jewellery.

This placement is only suitable for those applicants wishing to pursue a career as an Occupational Therapist. This placement is across both the Queen's Medical Centre and Nottingham City Hospital campuses.
Due to the demand for work experience placements, all work experience applicants must be Nottinghamshire residents or attend full-time education in Nottinghamshire. Applicants must attend an induction before they can attend the placement.
If you are successful, we can only co-ordinate one placement per person, per academic year, through the directory of placements. This is due to the demand for placements.
