Cardiac Physiology


Clinical


Observing a wide range of cardiac diagnostic tests including heart monitoring, echocardiography, pacemaker implantation and follow up and PCI.

Hours 9am-5pm.

PLEASE NOTE - this placement is observation only and although it is in a clinical environment it is not a medical placement and the department is run by physiologists only.

Applicants are encouraged to be vaccinated against Covid-19.

You will be required to attend an induction session before your placement, we will book you onto a session in line with your placement start date.

Smart dress. Flat comfortable shoes. Bare below the elbows. Long hair tied back and only one set of stud earrings, no other jewellery.


Due to the demand for work experience placements, all work experience applicants must be Nottinghamshire residents or attend full-time education in Nottinghamshire. Applicants must attend an induction before they can attend the placement.

If you are successful, we can only co-ordinate one placement per person, per academic year, through the directory of placements. This is due to the demand for placements.
